Perrie Voss is an award-winning screenwriter, picture editor, and 2021 and 2023 Canadian Screen Awards nominated actor and producer. Most notably, Perrie co-wrote, co-produced, co-starred, and co-edited Avocado Toast the series, seasons 1 and 2 which are based on her life and experiences. Both seasons are currently airing on OUTtv, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+, and additional streaming platforms worldwide which are listed at www.avocadotoasttheseries.com. As a queer filmmaker, Perrie focuses on telling stories with diverse and underrepresented narratives, especially those surrounding female-led and LGBTQ2ia+ projects. Along with Avocado Toast, Perrie is preparing to shoot her sophomore digital series, Stories from my Gay Grandparents (10x8) which was the recipient of development funding from the 2021 IPF/CMF Short Series Fund followed by full production funding from IPF and Bell Fund. Perrie recently edited and starred in a short film called Alex - which, after festival selections at Canadian Film Fest, Whistler Film Fest, Austin Film Fest, and Hollyshorts has recently been selected as a Vimeo Staff Pick. Perrie is currently editing a feature film called Really Happy Someday as well as developing a 30-minute workplace comedy. Other recent acting credits include Star Trek: Discovery (Paramount+) Strays season 2 (CBC), Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Revenge of the Black Best Friend (CBC), The Boys (Amazon Prime), and Letters to Satan Claus (NBC/SyFy).
